In an increasingly pressurised working environment it is not often possible for young professionals to escape the office and develop new business relationships. At director or partner levels networking opportunities are more frequent and valuable business contacts have had years to develop and mature. For the next generation of young professionals working their way up the corporate ladder, the amount of time that they have to spend at their desk and in the office often means it is much harder for them to build up business networks for themselves. Telford Young Professionals (TYP) aims to correct this imbalance by offering it’s members opportunities to meet their peers in a relaxed environment on a regular and informal basis.

TYP is a networking group designed to create business opportunities, develop business relationships and to provide an environment for young professionals to build a future in Telford & Shropshire. Once you attend an event you’ll be amazed at the number of young professionals who are actively involved with TYP and the local business community.

TYP is jointly operated by Telford Business Partnership and Shropshire Chamber of Commerce focused on supporting and engaging professionals aged between 18 – 35 years of age.
